Since its foundation in 1954, PUNGGUK Ethanol is a prestigious long-lived company that has continued to develop with the history and changes of the liquor industry of Republic of Korea. By using agricultural products as raw materials for ethanol, it contributes to the government's grain policy such as increasing farm income and food security, and by supplying ethanol, the raw material of soju which is national alcohol, it also greatly contributes to liquor tax preservation, price stability, and public health and sanitation. It is proud to be a clean factory in both name and reality by establishing a new energy-saving distillation column, establishing an automated system for production processes, and completing its own wastewater purification treatment facilities. And it is taking the lead in saving energy and reducing carbon emissions in line with the government's greenhouse gas reduction policy. Based on 70 years of accumulated ethanol production know-how, we succeeded in research and development of ultra-high purity ethanol and secured a new growth engine. We make a contribution to the localization of electronic and semiconductor materials by stably supplying eco-friendly ultra-high purity ethanol with quality and price competitiveness. We will recognize the importance of the role of companies in building a sustainable society for the nation and its citizens and try to build social trust. We are fulfilling our corporate social responsibilities by practicing transparent management and establishing the practice of sharing as a corporate culture.
